Join us for our first amendment workshop!

The Stanford ACLU will be hosting a First Amendment Workshop. The event will take place in week 8: February 27th and February 28th from 5:00-8:00pm!

If you are interested in advocacy, student activism, constitutional law, or civil rights, this workshop is for you! Join us over catered dinners to learn from ACLU Staff Attorneys. Our guest speakers include Chessie Thacher and Shaila Nathu, Senior Staff and Staff Attorney for the Democracy & Civic Engagement program at the ACLU of Northern California, and Michelle Deutchman, executive director of the UC National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement.

You do not need to be in Stanford ACLU to attend— all are welcome!

Keep fighting for abortion access.

On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the nearly 50-year-old landmark decision recognizing the federal constitutional right to abortion.
